Oh my goodness! Here we are! I began writing this blog in February 2014 and was not sure which direction it would take. 99 blog entries later, it is interesting to look back on my very first blog entry. My mom always told me that I should write a book one day. I was never quite sure how that would all come together? Whether you are brand new to my blog or have read dozens of entries along the way - WELCOME! As I began blogging, I realized just how much I enjoy writing, sharing, putting together photos and interacting with others on these topics. Thank YOU for being a part of my life via "Kitchen Window". It has been really neat. As I pause for a moment here at entry 100, I am reflecting on some of my blog highlights from this past year. I had begun my own health transformation in September 2013. I became a coach in March 2014. It has been so fantastic to be able to help others find their own success the same way that my sister (and my own coach!) has helped me with this adventure. I am thankful.

I
like to cook and really enjoy putting together new clean eating
recipes. I have told my husband how it is interesting that if I blog a
dinner recipe, I will get a fair amount of page views. But if I share
some new clean eating dessert - look out! Those entries are always
super-popular amongst my followers! Here are some of my favorite
recipes from the past year:
Sometimes blogging is kind of like writing in a journal and there are entries where I share from the heart about what is happening in life. Each time I have posted one of these potentially vulnerable entries on my FB page, I have really enjoyed the conversation sparked as others share their own perspective and experiences.
We began making healthy changes here in September 2013 and sometimes I blog about new things that I have learned and benefits that I have seen along the way! Kind of like the "journal" entries, I LOVE the interaction and idea exchange that these things have prompted! There are so many benefits that accompany healthy changes and it is exciting to consider them!
My faith is interwoven through the tapestry of my everyday life. I enjoy writing blog entries about something that has been taking shape in my heart and mind. Staying grounded in God's Word goes a long way in maintaining an eager attitude as I move through life as a mom, wife, friend and leader.
One other category of my blog entries is made up of practical tools and how-to information related to fitness and nutrition. These are not always the most exciting entries but they do serve as a helpful point of reference and education.

Okay, I will wrap up this blog entry before it becomes too lengthy! Other topics within my blog have included spotlights on my challengers and coaches, reviews of Beachbody programs which I have completed, kitchen and workout tips, invitations to my challenge groups and team, plus favorite kid-tested tools for homeschooling, and other snapshots of life in general. I look forward to the next 100 blog entries! I will see you there. :)
