What is Great About August 18th?

Good morning!  I was gathering my thoughts last night as I looked at the upcoming month.  What is going to be great about August 18th?  This is going to be "Day ONE" for some people.  Day One is all about making the changes that get you headed in the right direction.  Just think about where you could be a month from now?  Also picture feeling satisfied EACH day with the direction that you are taking in life.  Last night my family spent four hours out at a local campground. There were many people there who were camping for the weekend. I am NOT saying this from a place of being judgmental... it is an observation. I would say that easily 60% of the people there (adults and kids) were significantly overweight. In those who were older, you could see the toll that this had taken on their bodies. It is just amazing how what is accepted as "normal" foods/habits in our culture are what add up to these end results. LET'S MAKE HEALTHY CHOICES TODAY!! It doesn't matter if you are not yet all the way there. Move in the right direction.  Your choices will have a ripple effect that extends to your family, friends and others in your circle.

Challenge Group, PiYo
It is no secret that I have been LOVING PiYo.  Check out this blog entry of mine for snap-shot of PiYo.  My "Fresh Start for Fall" is a 60 day group where we will have a variety of workouts represented.  You could join me with PiYo or you could so something else that is your own style.  The most important part is to find a program that you enjoy.  This is going to be key in you actually doing it each day!  I can help you with knowing which one would be a fit for you.  This group will have LOTS of content on clean eating and how to really incorporate this as a key component of your new lifestyle.  Beachbody has FOUR programs that are on sale during the month of August.  You could select any one of these and that would work as your own program of choice during this challenge group.
